The
Book Drop at the front of the
building may be used for
returning most items when the
library is closed. Please use
rubber bands to securely bind
audiovisual items. *Museum
passes must be returned to the
adult reference desk. Inter-library
loan books
(items not from other public
libraries in Westchester) must be
returned to the circulation desk
in the library; we cannot renew
these items.

Internet
and Printing
The library offers free use of
computers with internet access
and Microsoft Office for adults
and children; these computers
allow you to print at a cost of
15 cents per a page. There is
also free wireless access to the
internet, but wireless printing
is not available. The library has
a self-serve copying machine that
accepts coins for payment. For
more details about these
services, call 914-591-7840
during regular library hours and
ask for a librarian.

Obtaining
a free Irvington Public Library
Card:
Any
resident of the Village of
Irvington is eligible for
an Irvington Library card, and
some non-residents who work or
own property in the Village.
|
Adults (age thirteen
and up):
To obtain an
Irvington Public Library card,
bring in a driver's license OR
a photo ID with your current
Irvington address. If this
address isn't on your license or
ID you will also need to bring in
a utility bill or lease showing
your current address.
Any
person with a valid Irvington
Public Library card may borrow
materials at any public library
in Westchester County and at
Westchester Community
College.

Children (age twelve
and under):
Parents or
guardians are responsible for all
materials borrowed and must sign
the child's card.
Children
may leave their library cards at
the circulation desk.
A
child with a valid Irvington
Public Library card may borrow
materials at any public library
in Westchester County.
|
Non-Residents:
A person who lives
outside Westchester County, but
works in Irvington is eligible
for an Irvington Public Library
card.
Nonresidents who live in
Westchester may get a temporary
card at the Irvington Public
Library. Then their home library
will issue a permanent card.
