Irvington Public Library, New York

TUESDAY, JANUARY 10 @ 6 p.m.

Grades 6-12

Being a teen isn't all fun and carefree like some adults (WRONGLY!) assume! Between school, friends and parents, a teen's life can be filled with stress. Yoga can help! This hour long class taught by local Yoga Instructor Leslie Seery will help kids de-stress and relax by focusing on the here and now. Register here.

Get Your Dessert On!

Thursday, January 12 @ 7 p.m.

Learn to make your new favorite cheesecake (seriously, it's really, really good)! The secret? NO ACTUAL CHEESE! Vegan desserts aren't just healthier than their dairy-filled cousins, they're also in a lot of instances, pretty simple and easy to make! Chef and educator Peter Louis Agovino will teach us how to make this delectable, delicious dessert, along with a couple other ones, so you can make them at home again, and again, and again. Register here.

Monday, January 23 @ 4 p.m.

Young Adults books are some of the most popular books out there! And with good reason: They're imaginative, compelling, and encompass a wide range of genres. They're so, so good! So come celebrate some of these wildly wonderful tomes with our monthly teen book club! This month's book is Victoria Schwab's This Savage Song. In this dystopian novel, a city is torn down the middle, with monsters lurking everywhere. The rarest of these, the Sunai, can steal a person's soul with their song. Pick up copies at the library's circulation desk! FOR GRADES 6-9 ONLY. Register Here, or by calling 914-591-7840.
