Did You Know?

We, like you, are fans of all things free. Did you know that your library card gives you free, online access to movies, music & e-books? Check out our Digital Services Page here to learn more about Kanopy Streaming (basically a curated form of Netflix), Hoopla Digital (more movies! TV Shows! Music! Comics! Books!), and Overdrive!

Psst: In addition to fiction (such as all of Kurt Vonnegut’s novels!), Freading lets you download and keep Sparknotes Study Guides, Crash Course Books to A.P courses,  and No Fear Shakespeare. Check out their collection of study guides like these here: https://irvingtonlibrary.freading.com/listing/LzBTVFVEWSBBSURT/1

Have You Heard?

The Libby app for iPhone or Android has *tons* of YA e-books and audiobooks. Click the covers to check out these great audio titles, all of which we also own in hard copy at the library!

Look at a Library NOOK

We have two NOOK Simple Touch E-readers pre-loaded with popular titles that Irvington Library card holders may borrow for three weeks, with no renewal. NOOK E-Reader #2 currently is pre-loaded with Game of Thrones (Four Book Set); A Dance With Dragons by George R.R. Martin; Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins. You cannot place one of our NOOKS “On Hold” using the (WLS) catalog.

We have free Museum Passes- Find out more on our museum page.
